RDP into GBVEEAM01 (Veeam Backup) and open Veeam Backup & Replication Console (Shell). The UN and PW is saved for convenience.

Click on the Restore tab and select VMware

Then radio button in the Restore from Backup window – Guest files (Windows)  Next

Select Job Name (eg Daily Backup Sealionnet and click on the triangle to select the correct virtual server name. Next

Then choose the backup date. Next and add a reason and click Finish

 

It will now run and in due course a window pops up “Starting restore session”

 

Finally the selections appear as drive letters and files

 

Select File or Folder and then Right Click Restore and chose (a) Overwrite of (b) to a location

 

And off she goes…………………………..
