Issue:
Some database applications that use a web browser to access data will display the dates in the US format MMDDYYY if Chrome is used whereas if Internet Explorer is used they are in the UK format.
Resolution
To change the date format in Google Chrome.
Click on the three vertical bars in the top right hand of Chrome.

Select “Settings”. At the end of the settings page select “Show advanced settings”
Scroll down and click on the “languages and input settings” button
Make sure that “English (United Kingdom)” is displayed in the list. If not click on Add and select “English (United Kingdom)” OK
Select English and click on the cross that appears and “Delete this item”

Select any other non UK language and do the same (Delete this item) until only English (United Kingdom) is displayed and it acknowledges “Google Chrome is displayed in this language” and “This language is used for spell checking” as below.

Click Finish and close Chrome for these settings to take effect.
