Dial a Favourite\u00a0Contact<\/h2>\n

The steps to turn on the TV and VC. Also dialing up a favourite contact.<\/p>\n

Turning on the TV and Displaying the Polycom AVC Home Page<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Turn on the TV with its remote control.<\/li>\n
  2. Turn on the Polycom VC unit by using the \u2018Power\u2019 button on the remote control.<\/li>\n
  3. Press the AV button on the TV remote to choose external devices.<\/li>\n
  4. Once the external connections are listed press the down arrow on the TV remote to highlight \u2018Component\u2019 and press \u2018OK\u2019 on the remote. This will take you to the Polycom input.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Dialling a\u00a0Contact<\/strong><\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. If the \u2018Home\u2019 screen isn\u2019t already on the TV press the \u2018Home\u2019 button on the Polycom remote control.<\/li>\n
    2. There will now be three options. Press the down arrow on the Polycom remote and choose \u2018Directory\u2019 by pressing the centre \u2018.\u2019 button.<\/li>\n
    3. From the \u2018Directory\u2019 menu choose the \u2018Favourites\u2019 option using the same method on the remote control.<\/li>\n
    4. There are several contacts listed. Use the up and down arrows on the remote to find the desired favourite and press the centre \u2018.\u2019 button.<\/li>\n
    5. The system will then proceed to dial the contact.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. If the \u2018Home\u2019 screen isn\u2019t already on the TV press the \u2018Home\u2019 button on the Polycom remote control.<\/li>\n
      2. Press the down arrow on the Polycom remote and choose \u2018Directory\u2019 by pressing the centre \u2018.\u2019 button.<\/li>\n
      3. Highlight Favourites and press centre button<\/li>\n
      4. Left and down arrow to select \u201cCreate a Contact\u201d. Use default Call type H232 for IP phone; enter a name; enter an IP address<\/li>\n
      5. Down and left to Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Quick Add a\u00a0Contact<\/h2>\n

        1. If the \u2018Home\u2019 screen isn\u2019t already on the TV press the \u2018Home\u2019 button on the Polycom remote control.<\/li>\n
        2. Press the down arrow on the Polycom remote select \u2018Place a call\u201d by pressing the centre \u2018.\u2019 button.<\/li>\n
        3. Enter the IP address of the call<\/li>\n
        4. At the end of the call you will get the option to save the contact.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Disconnecting a VC\u00a0call<\/h2>\n

          This section explains how to close a VC call.<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Press the red \u2018downphone\u2019 button on the remote control<\/li>\n
          2. Turn off the Polycom but pressing the \u2018Power\u2019 button on the Polycom remote control.<\/li>\n
          3. Turn off the TV by pressing the power button on the set.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Rotating the\u00a0Camera<\/h2>\n

            This section explains how to move the local camera around.<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. To move the camera press the \u2018Camera\u2019 button on the top line of the Polycom remote control.<\/li>\n
            2. Then three options will appear on the screen. Highlight \u2018Main\u2019 and press the centre \u2018.\u2019 Button.<\/li>\n
            3. Once here your camera will become the primary view on the TV. At this point you can use the arrow buttons to find the desired angle for the camera.<\/li>\n
