(On boot one screen is on but black and the other is off)."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\tThe issue is that when the PC is turned on you can see the usual boot screens of rotating dots, but when it&#8217;s booted one screen is on but showing as black and the other is off, on dual screen systems. The PC can be rebooted several times and possibly on one occasion it actually gives you a login.<\/p>\n<p>This can be due to the fact that the processor of the PC can&#8217;t handle the &#8216;Fast Startup&#8217; option of Windows 10. So we need to turn off Fast Startup.<\/p>\n<p>Fast startup is a feature in Windows that helps your computer start faster. You can use the following steps to enable or disable fast startup.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Type\u00a0<strong>Control Panel<\/strong>\u00a0in the search box.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Control Panel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Power Options<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Choose what the power buttons do<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Change settings that are currently unavailable<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to\u00a0<strong>Shutdown settings<\/strong>\u00a0and uncheck\u00a0<strong>Turn on fast startup<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Save changes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The issue is that when the PC is turned on you can see the usual boot screens of rotating dots, but when it&#8217;s booted one screen is on but showing as black and the other is off, on dual screen systems.
